About The Role:
We are looking for someone to join the team as full-time Assistant to Senior Agent in our Sydney office.
In this role, you will work with the team and broader business to assist in booking and managing aspects of national tours for acts on the Agent’s roster.
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day booking assistant tasks, acting as the right-hand person to the Agent. You will be liaising directly with clients (Artists and Managers) and external key industry businesses such as venues and festivals.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Understand the operational needs of, and provide exceptional administrative support to, the Senior Agent.
- Liaise with Venues, Artists, Managers, Promoters and Ticketing Agencies to route tours, put tickets on sale, book supports, finalise settlements.
- Liaise with Artists/Managers to maintain & distribute current Artist assets.
- Assist with pitching Artists for festivals & events.
- Respond to phone & email enquiries regarding tours & events.
- Additional office tasks as required.
About You:
- Strong ability to work autonomously following protocol, and report status updates to supervisor in an efficient manner.
- Outstanding organisational skills; ablility to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlines while maintaining an eye for detail.
- Ability to use organisational skills to anticipate & neutralise issues before they occur.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written & verbal); confident & polite phone manner.
- High level of computer literacy and experience with Excel, Word and email management.
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude & fast learner.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality.
- Good knowledge of contemporary music, Australian music venues & festivals, and the music industry in general.
- 3+ years administrative experience & music industry experience is essential.
