ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Sales & Business Development Manager to oversee and drive business development, account management, and client relations for Greencare. Reporting directly to the CEO & Senior Management, you will play a crucial role in shaping our growth strategy, leading our BDM team, and managing key client relationships. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on client interaction, ideal for a leader who is both results-driven and relationship-oriented.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership & Account Management: Build, manage, and maintain a profitable account portfolio while actively developing new business opportunities.
- Cold Calling: Leading by example and successfully achieving set KPIs each month
- KPI Management: Develop and oversee a KPI framework for the team, assessing and updating metrics regularly.
- Sales Program Development: Formulate and implement sales and business development programs, including creating tailored pitches, writing and distributing booking strategies.
- Client Relations: Develop and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of communication and service delivery.
- Database Management: Oversee the management of the company’s client database, ensuring all data is accurate, up-to-date, and effectively utilised for sales initiatives. Implement strategies to segment, analyse, and leverage client data to drive targeted outreach and improved client engagement.
- Market Awareness: Stay attuned to new editorial coverage opportunities, both online and offline, to benefit client visibility.
- Client Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day client requirements, ensure timely delivery on objectives, and provide monthly reports on activity and outcomes.
- Collaborative Strategy: Support online promotional activities in collaboration with the marketing manager, including blog management, affiliate and collaboration programs, and EDM management.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure all sales and marketing messaging aligns with the company and client brand positioning.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, offering insights and support for the agency and client brand initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 3+ years experience in a sales and business development role. Along with proven experience managing a team.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales and operational strategies programs.
- Proficiency in using Podium, AI sales tools, and other digital marketing initiatives.
- Excellent client management skills with a track record of maintaining and growing client relationships.
- Ability to adapt and work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
- Add and develop on the Greencare culture that currently exists at the business.
