Sam I Am Managment is a highly established boutique creative agency and production company based in Sydney with an exceptional roster of photographers, filmmakers, retouchers and stylists.
We currently have an opening for an experienced and driven Senior Agent to join our wonderful team asap.
We’re looking for someone service-focused and positive with strong connections in the advertising industry, a keen interest in image creation and a passion for strategic marketing.
This full time position is a great opportunity to make your mark in an established company, working closely with our founder and roster of talented artists. Our close-knit team is passionate about delivering strong work to a high calibre within a collaborative, supportive and warm inclusive environment.
Term: Maternity leave cover contract period 12-18 months, with possibility to expand
Location: Hybrid, minimum 3 days a week in our Surry Hills office
Salary: Package negotiable dependent on level of experience

About the Role
The Senior Agent is a strategic artist management, brand marketing and sales role.
Primarily working closely with the SIA Artists to reach their career goals by implementing, developing and evaluating individual marketing strategies.
Outreach for the artist roster, as well as the SIA brand is a strong focus of this role, as such excellent industry relationship management is requisite. Identifying growth opportunities for SIA in line with the overall Strategic Sales and Marketing Plan is also key.
Core Responsibilities
- Primary marketing contact for SIA Artists
- Create concise and creative long term sales strategies for artists’ career development
- Maintain regular communication with artists to create, review and execute goals
- Curate and update artist portfolios
- Identify opportunities and book go-see meetings with potential clients
- Collaborate on and execute treatments, pitches and responses to briefs
- Maintain impeccable assets for both Artists and the SIA brand, for use in broad and specific marketing including website, social, digital collateral and portfolios
- Strengthen SIA brand by being connected and building industry relationships
- Keep abreast of editorial, advertising and fashion industry developments
- Manage internal and external resources to maintain the SIA database
- Attend artist and brand meetings with new business opportunities and legacy clients
- Socialise at industry events and exhibitions
- On occasion, support senior production team with new enquiries until they move into execution phase
- Chair fortnightly agency-wide marketing meetings
- Work with the Founder to identify opportunities to build the SIA talent base
- Manage the Creative Assistant & Interns, alongside the Head of Operations
About You
- Minimum 3 years industry experience, liaising directly with agencies and clients
- Understanding of industry processes and client expectations
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the photography and advertising industries, as well as the broader arts
- Client service focussed in context of both artist management and industry relationships
- Strategic in both new business and artist development.
- Dynamic, results-driven and resilient in a highly competitive market
- Passionate about supporting, mentoring and creating opportunities for the artist roster
- Extremely proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within our wider team
- Clear and confident communicator
- Able to problem solve and develop solutions
- Exceptionally organised, process driven and efficient, with laser-sharp attention to detail
- Able to pivot between daily deadlines and longer-term projects
- Dedicated, passionate and positive love for what you do
Skills & Experience Required
- Ability to manage direct reports and outsourced marketing specialists
- Understanding of digital marketing and social content
- E-Marketing design and distribution software (we use Flodesk, Zapier, Hubspot)
- Proficiency across Social Media Platforms (Facebook Business Manager, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Proficient in Google Suite, Hubspot or similar CRM software
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, Creative Cloud and Canva
