Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to be a member of the Commerce team on a Parental Leave capacity, a specialist team within Nine’s Sales function, you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, analysis of and influencing development of Nine's Revenue systems, primarily booking and revenue data reporting systems.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- In-depth understanding of Nine's advertising trading systems across Television, Radio & Digital platforms
- Providing guidance to the National Sales team as the Sales Systems super-user
- Gain insight and understanding of the Commerce function and yield & inventory management requirements of each platform
- Collaborate effectively with team members to prioritise, plan and execute systems strategies as required
- Testing lead for key revenue systems development
- Play an influential role in new revenue data solutions
- Liaise between Sales and Technology teams as the advocate for the Sales
- Commerce lead for any sales system training requirements, including new user induction, including documentation and training plans
- Troubleshooting and problem solving as key stakeholder where ad hoc situations occur
- Project lead on sales systems initiatives
- Other duties as reasonably required
Qualifications
Essential experience & skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver insightful reporting
- Strong understanding of audience data analytics & measurement
- Ability to communicate information to various stakeholders in a tailored and appropriate style
- Strong attention to detail and advanced Excel skills
Desirable experience & skills
- Database management experience (eg. BigQuery SQL and Python)
- Media Industry experience is desired, but not required
- Leadership experience within a small team
- Experience in the management & administration of software systems
- Experience with BI tools
