We are seeking a talented and passionate Graphic Designer/Video Editor to join our creative team. Key Responsibilities:
- Motion Graphics & Animation: Develop original motion graphics, visual effects, and animations to bring concepts to life across a wide variety of projects. From conceptualization to final delivery, you’ll play a key role in producing dynamic, engaging content for cinema, broadcast, digital, and social media.
- Video Editing: Edit video and audio content from raw footage, transforming it into polished, captivating material for use across multiple platforms, including the big screen, social media, and digital campaigns.
- Creative Campaign Development: Collaborate with creative teams to design and execute visually compelling marketing materials, presentations, and digital assets that elevate brand identity. You’ll help to extrapolate creative elements from static assets and enrich them with motion and animation to create a cohesive brand experience.
- Graphic Design: Create and develop various marketing materials, including print, digital, and social media assets. You will leverage your expertise in graphic design to craft layouts, typography, logos, and imagery that align with the brand’s visual identity.
- Collaboration & Feedback Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, copywriters, and project managers, to ensure that all assets are aligned with creative briefs, brand guidelines, and project timelines. Be open to constructive feedback and adapt designs and edits accordingly to meet project objectives.
- File Management & Deliverables: Ensure all final assets are correctly formatted, organized, and archived for efficient handover to internal teams or clients. Manage the technical aspects of video and motion content, including resolution, frame rates, and file formats, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.
Requirements:
- Education & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Design, Visual Communications, Film Production, Animation, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in motion design, video editing, and graphic design, either in an agency, studio, or in-house creative team.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and InDesign.
- Strong knowledge of motion design principles, video editing workflows, and techniques.
- Experience working with audio editing and sound design for video projects.
- Creative Skills:
- Strong visual design sense with attention to detail in composition, typography, and color.
- Demonstrated ability to translate ideas into compelling visual stories, whether through animation, video editing, or graphic design.
- Knowledge of current design trends, motion graphics techniques, and video production workflows.
- Personal Attributes:
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment.
- Ability to handle feedback with a positive attitude, making adjustments and revisions quickly to meet project needs.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Desirable Skills:
- Experience with video content for social media platforms and knowledge of platform-specific design requirements (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and web design basics.
- Experience with client-facing communications and presenting creative work.
