WHO ARE WE?
Mingle is a Challenger Pantry Brand that’s shaking up supermarket shelves and proving that pantry staples don’t have to be boring. With one of the biggest social media followings of any food brand, we’ve built a movement around making healthy, delicious food simple—without the nasties, without the complexity, and without the blandness.
This brand started in Jords' (our Founder’s) kitchen 9 years ago, and since then, it has grown into a household name sold in over 3,000 stores. What started as one idea has turned into a brand disrupting the food industry.
This role isn’t just about creating content—it’s an opportunity to be part of a real, fast-growing scaleup where ideas turn into reality. You’ll get first-hand experience in how to run a business, execute ideas, and grow a brand from the ground up—an incredible blueprint for your career.
We’re a team of 9 who love food, creativity, and having a laugh—monthly team activities included. Pickleball is next week. We don’t do corporate politics, we don’t take ourselves too seriously, and we move fast.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Social Media (Including Food Content)
Become One of Mingle’s Main Characters
- Be a core face of our social content, appearing in TikToks and Reels that bring food, supermarkets, and pantry staples to life in an entertaining, relatable way.
- Work closely with Jords to learn her insights on brand-building, audience growth, and how to cut through the noise in a competitive industry.
- Hit the streets, supermarkets, and kitchens to create scroll-stopping content.
- Develop and test ideas fast—whether it’s food hacks, taste tests, supermarket deep dives, or viral food trends, you’ll help bring them to life.
- Engage with our audience, react to trends, and become the voice and personality of Mingle’s digital presence.
Build & Execute Mingle’s Content Strategy
- Develop a content strategy that aligns with Mingle’s brand awareness, conversion, and customer nurturing goals—both online and in supermarkets.
- Create engaging and strategic content that strengthens our presence in retail stores, keeps Mingle top of mind for customers, and drives trial and repeat purchases.
- Balance brand storytelling, entertainment, and performance marketing to deliver content that works across social and potential paid channels.
- Analyse and adjust content based on performance metrics to continuously improve impact.
Get in the Kitchen & Create Mouthwatering Food Content
- Love food? Good. We’re going to need you in the kitchen.
- Create engaging, drool-worthy food content that shows Mingle’s versatility—from easy weeknight meals to flavour-packed experiments.
- Cook, taste-test, and capture content that makes people need to try Mingle.
- Getting paid to cook and eat? Yes, you heard me.
Performance Digital Content
Create High-Converting Digital Content
- Concept, shoot, and edit high-performing ad content for Meta and TikTok that connects and converts.
- Use data-driven insights to optimise creative—what’s working, what’s flopping, and how to make it better.
- Collaborate with our Growth and Creative teams to ensure our content is fresh, fun, and performance-driven.
Reactive & Trend-Jumping
Social Media Listening and Trend-Jumping
- Stay on top of social trends, spot opportunities, and react quickly to viral moments.
- Engage with customer content, influencers, and user-generated content to build brand love and drive organic reach.
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT
- You have experience in videography and editing
- You’re a natural entertainer—comfortable and confident in front of the camera, with a knack for storytelling.
- You’re funny, relatable, and know how to hook people in seconds.
- You get social media—you know what performs on TikTok and Instagram, and why.
- You can film and edit quickly and effectively, creating content that feels real, raw, and engaging.
- You have an eye for great food content and ideally you have to be comfortable on the tools in the kitchen
- You’re adaptable and thrive in a fast-moving environment—no waiting for “perfect,” just making great content happen.
- You want real, hands-on experience in growing a brand and aren’t afraid to take risks and try new ideas.
- Bonus if you’ve worked in Marketing or have a copywriter background—but it’s not a must. If you’re willing to learn on the job, we’ll give you all the tools and real-world experience to set you up for success.
