The Buzz Group is looking for a motivated and driven communications and PR intern who wants to expand their knowledge and experience in media relations and social media.

This role will work directly alongside our Communications Lead and Associate Director. Please note, this role is unpaid but offers invaluable, global experience in a fast-paced media environment.
To be successful in this role, you must:
• Be a university student studying public relations.
• Be proficient in using Mac and have strong Microsoft formatting skills.
• Have a strategic and analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have a keen eye for detail, particularly with spelling and grammar.
• Be self-motivated, proactive, organised, and show great initiative.
• Work well in a team and follow directions.
• Maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with day-to-day account responsibilities for clients.
• Participating in creative brainstorming meetings.
• Social media community engagement.
• Support reporting and public relations plans.
• Assisting with general administration and reception duties.
• Researching current and new public relations trends.
The internship runs from 9 AM–5.30PM, 3 days a week for 3 months. While lunch and travel expenses to and from work are not covered, expenses for work-related travel during the day will be reimbursed. The internship can be accredited to relevant study requirements and is available for an immediate start.
