Key Responsibilities:
Account Management - Sales Market Key Client
· Manage all assigned client global sales appointments, including interstate and international travel schedules for seasonal showroom/sales market visits.
· Manage the wholesale appointment calendar, booking in appointments for all assigned clients with both new and existing brands with the support of the Wholesale Assistant.
· Manage all sales assets executions deadlines with clients – ensure that the client is meeting sales assets deadlines and provides linesheet, imagery, look book, and order forms ahead of the sales market with the support of the Wholesale Assistant.
· Enter Seasonal Totals for clients, ensuring communication of the order deadlines to both retailers and internal teams.
· Negotiate all new business Trading Terms for major retailers, and present proposed terms and orders to the client for sign-off.
· Update clients with feedback during the sales period and post key sales appointments. Ensure the monitoring of and achieving sales targets/confirmed forecasts within the season.
· Liaise with client accounts team and assist with distribution of deposit invoices and order confirmations with the support of the Wholesale Assistant.
Sales Market Preparation
· Ensure the wholesale target list is up to date and being managed correctly. This includes mailout tracker for each brand, ensuring one is created for all wholesale clients and kept up to date, with the appropriate information.
· Conduct weekly sales meetings – to discuss targeting and mailout strategy for all clients ahead of the market.
· All asset handover dates are communicated with brands at least 2 months prior to market.
· Manage the execution and checklist of all brand assets, ensure all DB folders are created by wholesale team and virtual backend, invites, Instagram posts etc.
· Manage and sign off on mailout schedule strategy each season, communicate to wider team.
· Communicate to the wider team expectations of the appointment calendar and execute the produced with the wholesale support team.
· Reach out personally to any key majors, and retail buying Directors on behalf the company.
· Ensure the totals page for the season is created 2 weeks prior to the market and is kept up to date by all account managers and wholesale support team during market. Currency conversions for the season are also kept up to date
· Ensure the itinerary is created by wholesale support team and dates and details tab is filled out correctly along with key appointments checklist.
· Communicate all brand seasonal forecasts with clients, and ensure signed of by both clients, account managers and Company Directors at least 4 weeks prior to market commencement date.
· During sales market – ensure each department and sharing best sellers mailouts with database for all brands at confirmed timings to co-inside with sales markets.
· Delegation management of appointment confirmations daily and leading up to sales market.
Reporting
· Review and execute weekly and/or fortnightly brand Sell-Through Reports to present to clients with detailed sell-through feedback and expert recommendations.
· Conducting profitability reports for top tier US major accounts in preparation for fortnightly calls
· Compile detailed End of Season Report for all clients, including feedback from external global wholesale agents to present back to the client team.
· With the support of the Wholesale Co-Ordinator, create seasonal Global Training Guides for key global retailers for clients to distribute to retailers.
· Provide monthly major Sell-Through Wrap-Up Reports to client and key stakeholders.
· Provide seasonal Range Plans to clients with inclusive mood board, feedback, SKU count, and feedback for design.
· Manage the Wholesale Critical Path for each client, and Payment Tracker shared with client in-house teams.
Required Skills & Preferred Attributes
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Senior Wholesale Management role within the fashion industry.
- Exceptional sales skills with experience selling collections within a showroom environment.
- An ability to work autonomously, as well as being a team player.
- An ability to mentor and support junior team members.
- Well-presented and groomed.
- Showcase a strong eye for existing and emerging fashion trends, and a solid understanding of brand positioning and of the global contemporary fashion market
- An ability to multitask across several accounts and adhere to deadlines.
- Analytical and logistical experience. Rehearsed with JOOR and Microsoft Office - intermediate Excel skills, and proficient PowerPoint skills.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A willingness to travel interstate and overseas 2-4 times per year as required.
