This role is for someone who lives and breathes social. From ideation to execution and loves crafting content that feels native, relevant, and culturally in tune.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Content Creation
- Ideate, produce, and oversee high-quality content tailored to each platform - including video, static assets, UGC-style content, and day-to-day storytelling
- Create scroll-stopping content that grows KIC’s follower count and engagement across platforms
- Ensure content is optimised for performance based on platform best practice, insights, and evolving social trends
- Stay across social media and industry trends to keep KIC culturally relevant
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand/Campaign and Always On/Commercial teams to plan and schedule content aligned to go-to-market campaigns, product launches, brand moments, and events
- Ensure all content adheres to platform community guidelines and best practices
Note: You won’t be the face of our social channels initially - the focus is on creating, editing, and scheduling content. This may evolve as our strategy grows.
Social Media Management
- Own and maintain social content calendars to ensure consistent, timely publishing
- Schedule, upload, and publish content across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including the Senior Social Media Strategist, Heads of Marketing, Brand Design Lead, co-founders, and copywriters to gather assets, write copy, and manage approvals
- Track content performance and proactively share insights, learnings, and emerging trends with the wider team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential
- 3+ years’ experience working in social media
- Strong experience across TikTok and Meta platforms
- Design capability using Figma and/or Canva
- Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and CapCut
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative thinking and content execution
- A strategic mindset with the ability to think beyond individual posts
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Confidence giving feedback and direction to talent, trainers, and senior stakeholders (including Founders)
- Strong communication, creative, and storytelling skills - you know how to show the why and how, not just tell the what
- A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail, accountability, and strong multitasking skills
- A sharp eye for emerging social trends and opportunities
- Confident both in front of and behind the camera
Nice to have
- Paid social creative experience
- Influencer or creator collaboration experience
- Data-informed creative thinking
- Experience using Sprout Social
- Experience using Monday.com
