This Position Matters Because:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning, building and delivering integrated multi-channel campaigns across digital and above-the-line channels that will effectively promote tours, drive ticket sales and increase awareness.
Critical to the position is the ability to manage end to end campaigns across digital and traditional media channels, ensuring successful promotional campaigns that align with DAL’s commercial objectives and vision.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can manage multiple campaigns concurrently, and is confident working across digital, media, and PR with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
Digital Marketing Coordination
- Develop digital channel recommendations, budgets and phasing plans for assigned tours.
- Plan, build and execute digital advertising campaigns under the guidance of the Digital Marketing Managers.
- Build ad campaigns across Meta and TikTok including audiences, placements, creative application, copy writing, and tracking.
- Build, monitor and optimise Google campaigns.
- Coordinate media planning and buying with digital publishers and coordinate influencers.
- Own end-to-end digital campaign delivery for assigned tours, including setup, optimisation and reporting.
- Brief and coordinate asset requirements (video, static) with external content producers (designers, editors).
- Ensure all marketing activity aligns with rollout calendars, social media, email marketing and PR.
- Prepare weekly performance updates for promoters during Marketing WIPs.
Above the Line Marketing Coordination
- Plan, build and execute advertising campaigns under the guidance of the Head of Marketing.
- Develop above the line channel recommendations, budgets and phasing plans for assigned tours.
- Plan and buy media across above the line channels including but not limited to; outdoor, radio, and publishers.
- Prepare marketing campaign plans.
- Collate assets and distribute information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support campaign timelines, rollout calendars and key milestones
- Work closely with labels, agents and managers.
- Coordinate with ticketing companies and venue partners.
- Work with PR contractors and oversee publicity roll out for relevant projects.
- Monitor market conditions and audience behaviour, adjusting strategies as required.
Analytics and Reporting
- Track, analyse, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, including website traffic, social engagement, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Measure and track ticket sales against marketing activity.
- Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.) to derive actionable insights and recommend improvements for ongoing campaigns.
- Present performance reports to Promoters and Marketing team, identifying trends, successes, and areas for growth.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in the Australian music/entertainment industries or in marketing environments.
- Hands-on experience building campaigns across Meta, TikTok and Google Ads.
- A proven history of delivering measurable marketing and communications initiatives across digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Comfortable working with budgets, timelines and performance metrics.
- Data-driven, detail oriented and proactive.
- Comfortable working autonomously and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once in a fast paced environment.
- Confident communicator who can work across internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure effective handovers are completed prior to planned annual leave, including documentation of ongoing tasks, key contacts, and any deadlines to ensure seamless workflow during absence.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks as needed.
- Passion for live music and touring is a strong advantage.
