This is a (really) rare chance to join the Brown Women Comedy / Australian South Asian Centre team in an operational role.
Brown Women Comedy is Australiaâs only feminist and besharam (shameless) comedy show featuring under-represented Indian and South Asian women comedians across major festivals. Itâs not just about comedy, dedicated to promoting diversity, feminism, and social change. We use humour as a tool to challenge societal norms and de- stigmatise taboo subjects around mental health, shame, sexuality, and racism. Weâre defining culture, one comedy show at a time.
Australian South Asian Centre (ASAC)Â creates space for South Asian womenâs creativity, culture and leadership. ASAC is dedicated to amplifying the voices of South Asian founders, creatives and professionals. Read our impact reporthere
Love storytelling, humour, social media, and creating content that actually makes an impact? Weâre looking for someone whoâs curious, creative, super pro-active and passionate about amplifying women of colour (be it comedians, creatives or social entrepreneurs).Â

If you love storytelling, social media, spicy humour and championing women of colour, this might be your perfect gig.Â
