Independent creative comms agency Liquid Ideas has many passions, but great people, food and drinks are in the agency’s DNA. We’re on the lookout for an Assistant Account Executive – someone with a desire to work on some of the country’s best consumer lifestyle brands and a passion for the food and drinks industries, to join the team based on Crown Street, Surry Hills.
The brief is simple. Have a great attitude, curiosity to learn, appetite to grow and desire for a fast-paced, fun, hands on, creative job. You’ll work on clever, creative campaigns that deliver impact across PR, social and paid media, influencer marketing, content and events.
Our awesome clients include Four Pillars Gin, SMEG, Sanitarium, Australian Eggs, House of Suntory, Singapore Airlines, Merivale, and, amongst many others.
The Assistant Account Executive positions will involve:
• Supporting on PR campaigns, including assisting in the preparation of media materials media lists, learning to pitch to media, coverage tracking, and preparing reports.
• Supporting on influencer campaigns, including influencer shortlisting, outreaching, briefing and content approvals.
• Social media including both paid and organic social management, content creation, copy/content development, community management, and creating social competitor audits.
• Assisting with events, from developing invite lists and outreach, to supporting with event logistics, RSVP management, hosting and supporting on event content creation.
• Photoshoot and content creation support including supporting suppliers, props and product support & attendance on shoot days.
• Helping to mentor and manage interns and their daily tasks, and teaching them fundamental PR, social and content skills.
The successful applicant will have:

• Genuine passion for engaging with the world around you including an ‘eyes up, ears open’ approach to what’s happening in social media and current affairs, influencer marketing & digital and content trends
• A drive to build relationships with media, influencer and industry peers
• Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms
• Attention to detail and a desire to work to high standards
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Experience:
• Assistant Account Executive: An undergraduate degree in PR, Communications or Marketing, no work experience required but internship or work experience in the industry are preferable
