About Us
MILKRUN is flipping the grocery game on its head with groceries and more delivered in minutes, powered by Woolworths. Our shelves are stocked with over 20,000 grocery items. Did we mention alcohol too? The best part? They're available for same day delivery and right now we are available in 2500+ selected suburbs across all major cities.
We call ourselves the 'MILKO's'! We are a small team with big ambitions and we love what we do. At MILKRUN we move FAST and we have a lot of fun whilst doing it. We value action over deliberation, data over instinct and collaboration over hierarchy.
About The Role
We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Marketing Coordinator who will be the creative engine behind our organic social presence. You are a passionate, internet-obsessed creative who lives and breathes social trends, algorithmic shifts, and pop culture. If you know exactly what audio is trending before it hits the mainstream and can turn a grocery bag into a viral TikTok, this is for you.
Responsibilities
- Execution of our organic social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest to scale our follower base and boost brand love.
- Ideate, script, shoot, and edit high-performing organic content. This includes native in-app editing, capturing trending audio/voiceovers, and aligning content with overarching marketing objectives.
- Monitor internet culture in real-time to identify relevant trends, memes, and cultural moments that MILKRUN can authentically jump on.
- Manage and respond to community enquiries, comments, memes, and App Store reviews with the signature MILKRUN tone of voice.
- Help build and execute an engaging Influencer/KOL program to drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and trust. Inclusive of prospecting, amending, advising and approving.
- Collaborate with external suppliers and partner brands to execute co-branded social campaigns.
- Ideate and execute activations with relevant stakeholders and businesses where there is strong brand alignment.
- Track, analyse, and report on monthly social metrics (engagement, reach, views) to turn data into actionable creative insights.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience managing social media channels or producing content for a brand, agency, or personal creator account
- Tertiary Marketing qualification desired
- Highly proficient in mobile video editing tools—specifically CapCut—as well as native TikTok and Instagram Reels builders
- A deep-rooted understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and what makes a piece of content stop the scroll
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Work collaboratively across the team but can also tackle projects independently
