AMPR is looking for a Senior Creative Manager – Content to join us in a full-time maternity leave cover role, leading creative direction, content strategy and storytelling across AMPR and Created by AMPR.
This is a role for someone who can move seamlessly between big-picture creative thinking and hands-on production. Someone who knows what makes social content stop the scroll, how to shape a campaign narrative, how to bring a client idea to life across multiple channels, and how to lead a creative team without losing the magic in the work.
You’ll work across a portfolio of leading fashion, beauty, retail, lifestyle, wellness, consumer and major event brands, helping shape content that is strategic, culturally relevant, beautifully executed and commercially effective.

The role
As Senior Creative Manager – Content, you’ll lead the creative and content function across both client work and AMPR’s own brand channels.
You’ll be responsible for shaping content strategies, directing creative outputs, managing content workflows, supporting client relationships, mentoring creative talent and helping AMPR continue to show up as a best-in-class agency across social, digital, earned and owned channels.
This role blends:
Creative direction
You’ll set the tone, standard and creative vision for content across campaigns, social, video, EDMs, websites, decks, client storytelling and agency brand projects.
Content strategy
You’ll build content plans that are audience-led, channel-smart and aligned to client objectives, brand positioning and commercial goals.
Client partnership
You’ll act as a senior strategic partner to clients, building trust, guiding creative conversations and helping translate ideas into content that works.
Team leadership
You’ll manage, mentor and guide creative outputs across the team, supporting strong workflows, quality control, collaboration and development.
Agency brand ownership
You’ll lead the strategic direction and delivery of AMPR and Created by AMPR’s own content channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, website and EDMs.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development and execution of integrated content strategies across social, earned and owned channels.
- Oversee creative production from ideation through to delivery, including written, graphic, video and social-first content.
- Drive the creative direction for AMPR and Created by AMPR brand channels.
- Lead content WIPs, manage priorities, oversee content calendars and keep workflows moving.
- Partner with client service teams to ensure content aligns with campaign strategy, tone of voice and target audience.
- Provide creative direction, feedback and quality control across internal team members, freelancers and external contributors.
- Oversee agency content including presentations, website updates, credentials, case studies, social content and EDMs.
- Monitor, analyse and report on content performance, translating insights into recommendations.
- Stay close to trends, platform changes, creator culture, social behaviour and digital innovation.
- Support business development through creative ideation, proposal input and content-led opportunities.
- Mentor and upskill team members in content, social, digital and creative best practice.
About you
You’re a creative leader with strong agency instincts, excellent taste and the ability to make content that performs.
You might currently be a Senior Content Manager, Creative Lead, Social Content Lead, Content Strategist, Creative Producer or similar. What matters most is that you can think strategically, create beautifully, lead calmly and manage multiple moving parts without losing sight of the idea.
You’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in communications, content, social, creative or marketing, ideally within an agency environment.
- Strong experience in content production, including social-first creative, video, campaign content and digital storytelling.
- Confidence leading content strategies across social, owned, earned and digital channels.
- Experience working directly with clients and translating objectives into clear creative direction.
- People management, mentoring or team leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of the relationship between traditional PR, social, influencer, content and digital.
- A sharp eye for brand, design, tone, culture and audience behaviour.
- Strong writing, communication, briefing and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence using tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, Google Analytics, WordPress, Frame.io, social scheduling and reporting platforms
- High-level understanding of video editing software (e.g. Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut) and post-production workflows, enabling clear communication, feedback and project management across creative teams and stakeholders.
