🎬 Video Editor - The Geronimo Academy

We’re The Geronimo Academy — a business education company helping gym and studio owners scale to $1M+ in revenue without burning out. Our social content isn’t fluff — it’s real, tactical, and founder-led.

Right now, we’re scaling up our media output across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and beyond. That’s where you come in.

👀 WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

A creative weapon who lives and breathes content.

Someone who can turn raw footage into high-impact edits that stop scrolls, build brand, and shift beliefs.

This role is for someone who wants to sharpen their storytelling, grow inside a high-performance media team, and take ownership of what they create.

🔧 YOUR ROLE (Contract-Based, with view to long term):

1. Sourcing & Processing

Own our raw content backlog. Identify, organize, and prep footage with purpose.

You’ll help us make sure nothing great ever dies in Google Drive.

2. Curating

Spot the story, shape the narrative. Work with our Creative Director to find the moments worth amplifying - then make them land.

3. Editing

Make short-form content that slaps.

Make YouTube edits that teach, entertain, and convert.

Produce our podcast in house and create clips from that.

We’ll give you frameworks and feedback — you bring the heat.

🎓 EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Required:

3–5+ years editing social and YouTube video content
Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro
Experience with Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube formatting
File organization and workflow mastery
You live in Sydney and are able to travel to Taren Point

Bonus points:

Can operate a camera (Videographer)
After Effects / animation skills
Graphic design / thumbnail experience
You live and breathe founder content (Bartlett, Hormozi, Martell, etc.)
