Position Overview:
The Outbound Sales Representative is a vital role in our mission to transform primary school music education across Australia. You'll be responsible for identifying and engaging with primary schools that can benefit from our curriculum solution. As the first point of contact for potential customers, you'll need exceptional communication skills and an energetic personality to create new sales opportunities through strategic outreach.
Selling to schools requires patience, persistence, empathy, and a genuine passion for improving educational outcomes. You'll manage a high volume of potential sales at different stages in the cycle while building meaningful relationships with education leaders.
As part of this role you will:
- Create new sales opportunities by identifying and qualifying schools that align with our target profile
- Meet daily outreach targets, including maintaining high-volume phone contact with prospects
- Build relationships with curriculum decision-makers through consultative conversations
- Implement targeted follow-up strategies based on school needs and priorities
- Schedule and conduct compelling product demonstrations that address specific curriculum and resource challenges
- Represent Amplify at education conferences and expos
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM (Hubspot) with meticulous attention to detail

Education and Experience:
Whilst previous experience will be considered, we're primarily looking for someone with the right attitude: willing to learn, work hard, achieve results and strive for excellence.
Favourable experience includes:
- Sales experience in a consultative or education-focused role
- Previous roles in administration, customer service or education
- Experience with longer sales cycles requiring multiple touchpoints
- Background in working with schools or understanding school decision processes
Location and Requirements:
Our office is located in Surry Hills (Sydney) in very close proximity to public transport (train, bus, light rail) and surrounded by awesome cafes and places to eat.
We are a team that enjoys coming to the office, working together and we are looking for someone interested in doing the same.
This role requires prolonged periods of desk work, including computer use and phone calls. A driver's license is required for attending meetings and conferences. Some regional and interstate travel to key markets will be involved, generally in short stints.
