We specialise in high-quality custom merchandise, delivering exceptional product to our clients with reliability and efficiency. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee and optimise our production processes.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Production Manager to work as the anchor between production and sales staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day production workflows, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining quality standards. You will co-ordinate production schedules, delegate and organise staff, provide final production approvals and assist in developing a kaizen culture. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills and hands-on experience in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Workflow Management
• Plan and oversee daily production to ensure efficiency and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with various departments to streamline workflow.
• Approve production sampling and maintain quality control across multiple decoration methods.
• Prepare and maintain accurate production paperwork and documentation.
• Record and analyse production data to improve processes and efficiency.
Equipment & Maintenance
• Supervise the maintenance and repairs of machinery and warehouse fixtures.
• Manage screens and screen-making equipment, ensuring they are in optimal condition.
Skills & Experience Required
• Previous experience in a production management role, preferably in screen printing or a related industry.
• Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing inventory, production schedules, and operational workflows.
• Hands-on knowledge of screen printing machinery and warehouse equipment maintenance.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with production documentation and record-keeping.
• Basic HR and rostering experience is a plus.
