Job Description
As a Social Media Producer for The Australian Financial Review, you will play a key role in managing and enhancing the Financial Review's social media presence, driving audience engagement and ensuring the delivery of accurate and compelling content.
In this role you will:
- Collaborate with AFR journalists and editors to implement social media strategies.
- Write, create, and publish engaging social posts and stories.
- Develop and produce content ideas tailored for social media distribution.
- Use analytics to track engagement goals.
- Monitor trends and opportunities in social media
Qualifications
What we would like to see:
- Knowledge of social media platforms and audience engagement
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Experience using digital products and willingness to use new systems
- Broad interest in news and major issues
- Ability to assist journalists in social media best practices.
- Image/video editing or graphic design skills are a plus.
