Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Executive to support the delivery of brand and acquisition strategies for some of Nine’s most successful publishing brands, collaborating with the Marketing Lead and Marketing Managers to implement campaigns that drive consumer subscription growth, and enhance brand affinity.
To succeed in the role you will be data-driven, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities. You will work with internal teams and external agencies to understand consumer insights, support media planning, and ensure effective campaign execution.
This role is responsible for executing the brand and acquisition activity for Nine’s publishing brands.
In this role you will:
- Support the Brand & Acquisition team in executing the Publishing marketing strategy to achieve stated business goals, drive consumer relevance and grow brand love.
- Ensure consistent brand application across the customer journey, advising stakeholders and maintaining clear guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Brand & Acquisition team to develop and execute campaigns across paid, owned, and earned media channels, ensuring data-driven results.
- Assist in creating and managing a growth-focused media strategy, balancing always-on presence with targeted engagement opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with agencies and teams to deliver campaigns and creative work on time.
- Carry out quarterly performance reporting, analysing data and uncovering insights to drive future growth.
- Work with the broader Audience & Acquisition team to align on full-funnel strategies and collaborate with Digital Performance for optimal execution.
- Support the Marketing Lead in managing the marketing budget, ensuring accurate data and timely processing.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
- 1-2 years experience in a consumer marketing role.
- A passion for brand with an understanding of brand-building principles.
- Demonstrable skills in executing campaigns that deliver on commercial objectives.
- A solid understanding of the digital customer journey, including performance metrics, channels, and best practice, as well as experience leveraging traditional media channels.
- Competency in managing multiple stakeholders, briefing agencies and delivering clear, actionable feedback to support creative development.
- An analytical, data-driven mindset and the ability to connect data points to form actionable strategic insights.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in relation to creative development and review.
- Strong communication skills, who is able to articulate marketing activity in a simplified manner, and is comfortable presenting to a broad range of audiences, collaborating as part of cross-functional teams and influencing to gain buy-in.
- Unbeatable organisation skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
