About Us
One Hit Agency is a leading events and music company delivering high-impact electronic music experiences across Australia and internationally. We operate across club residencies, national tours, and globally recognised brands including Defected and Glitterbox, with a strong focus on creative, culture-led marketing.
The Role
We’re looking for a highly capable, hands-on Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and performance of all marketing across the business.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced, all-rounder role — we’re looking for someone who can own everything from ads and CRM through to social, content, and real-time audience engagement.
You will take full ownership of end-to-end marketing across our events, tours, and artist roster — from building campaigns and running paid ads, through to creating content, managing socials, and engaging directly with our audience.
This role requires a balance of creative instinct, content execution, and performance marketing discipline.
Most importantly, we want someone who is genuinely passionate about music and nightlife — someone who wants to be at the shows, in the crowd, capturing content, and contributing to the culture that drives our brands.
What You’ll Work On
- Assisting with our weekly Saturday night at ivy (Above)
- National hard-ticket tours across Australia
- Global brands including Defected & Glitterbox
- Monthly boat parties and special events
- Ongoing promotion of our music agency roster
What You’ll Do
End-to-End Marketing Ownership
- Lead and execute marketing strategies across all events, tours, and brand initiatives
- Own campaign rollouts from announcement through to sell-out
Paid Media & Performance
- Build, manage and optimise campaigns across:
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram Ads Manager)
- TikTok Ads
- Google/YouTube (bonus)
- Manage budgets, targeting, scaling, and ROI
Content & Social (Creator-Led Approach)
- Own and grow all social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
- Take a creator-first approach — not just managing assets, but actively creating content
- Capture and produce content at events (photo/video, reels, behind-the-scenes)
- Lean into raw, real-time and user-generated style content that performs natively
CRM & Direct Marketing
- Manage and execute EDMs (email campaigns) and SMS blasts
- Segment databases and drive targeted campaigns to convert ticket sales
- Own messaging, scheduling, and performance tracking
Community & Customer Engagement
- Manage and respond to DMs, comments, and customer enquiries across all platforms
- Treat inbox and social interaction as a key sales and brand channel
- Maintain a strong, consistent, and on-brand voice
Creative & Collaboration
- Generate content ideas and marketing opportunities with artists and partners
- Brief and manage photographers, videographers, and designers where needed
- Work closely with internal team and external partners (venues, PR, media)
Reporting & Optimisation
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse key metrics, and refine strategy
- Continuously improve performance across ads, social, and CRM
On-the-Ground Involvement
- Attend events and tours as required
- Capture content, support execution, and stay connected to audience behaviour in real time
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in digital marketing within events, music, or a related industry
- Strong capability across paid media (Meta essential, TikTok highly desirable)
- Basic design and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe or similar) are a plus
- Experience with CRM, EDMs, and SMS marketing platforms
- A content-first mindset — someone who can create, not just manage
- Deep understanding of social platforms, trends, and audience behaviour
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns, timelines, and stakeholders
Most importantly:
- Genuine passion for music, nightlife, and events
- Someone who thrives in an “always-on” environment and wants to be present at shows
- A proactive, team-oriented operator who takes ownership and gets things done
Working Style
While the role operates broadly within standard working hours, it requires flexibility around events, late nights, and tour periods. Time in lieu / flexibility will be provided where needed — this is part of working in live events.
Why Join One Hit
- Work across some of the most exciting brands in global electronic music
- Be part of a fast-growing, creative, and culturally connected team
- Full ownership across marketing, content, ads, and CRM
- Opportunity to grow with the business locally and internationally
