This Position Matters Because:
The Merchandising & Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating end-to-end merchandise and operational workflows across artists, tours, and releases, ensuring products are delivered on time, accurately, and in line with creative and commercial objectives.
Critical to the position is the ability to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders across merchandising production, touring logistics, stock tracking, and financial reconciliation, supporting consistent merchandise performance and smooth operational delivery.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced tour cycles, brings strong attention to detail, and is confident coordinating artists, designers, suppliers, and partners across overlapping projects.
Key Accountabilities:
Merchandising
• Coordinate merchandise timelines from creative approval through production, ordering, freight, and delivery
• Assist with merchandising creative by coordinating concepts, references, feedback, and approvals between artists, designers, and suppliers
• Liaise with manufacturers, tour merch partners, and warehouses
• Track stock levels, tour allocations, and post-tour redistribution
• Assist with merch settlements, reporting, and internal reconciliation
• Work to increase merchandise revenue for roster artists
General Operations
• Support day-to-day operational coordination across artists, tours, and releases
• Maintain internal trackers, timelines, and documentation
• Act as a central point of coordination between management, merch partners, and external stakeholders
• Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks as required
Desired Skills & Experience:
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident coordinating multiple stakeholders and timelines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working across fast-moving projects and tour cycles
• Basic math skills and confidence working with numbers (e.g. quantities, costs, settlements)
• Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets for tracking, reporting, and reconciliation
• Interest or experience in music, touring, fashion, or merchandise operations is highly regarded
• Touring experience is strongly preferred, particularly in merch, as an artist, or artist support roles
Location & Working Arrangements
• This is a work from home / remote role
• This role is full time and hours are flexible
• Melbourne-based candidates preferred to allow for occasional in-person meetings or team catch-ups
