We want to hear from you if you:

· Are currently studying events or marketing.

· Are able to work independently.

· Have a proactive approach to problem solving with the ability to think on your feet.

· Are able to work within a small team, with a willingness to assist across all areas of the business.

· Able to multitask between a number of concurrent projects.

· Confidence liaising with suppliers including confidence to make and receive phone calls.

· Have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop trust and maintain effective working relationships.

· Have the ability to think outside the box and offer creative input.

· Have a passion for events.

· Are highly organised.

About the event space

We are always on a deadline – and the energy in our office is electric – but it is all worth it to see incredible events come to life.
Our office is based in the Northern Beaches and teamwork and culture is everything to us.

About the role

Key event internship responsibilities

· Source and liaise with event suppliers.

· Source and liaise with venues.

· Event styling preparation.

· Client proposals, including creating mood boards, formatting documents etc.

· Involvement in team brainstorms and creative sessions.

· Onsite event management (in an event assistant capacity).

· Management and meeting documentation of the team weekly WIP meeting documentation

· Provide support to the event managers and coordinators.

What we are looking for

Currently studying events or marketing and willing to learn.
2-3 days/week.
Willing and able to proactively get things done – we’re talking managing your own timelines and ability to work independently.
Ability to multitask between a number of concurrent projects.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
You are incredibly organised and have great attention to detail.
Ability to think outside the box and offer creative input.
Work well in a team and willing to learn.
Have a positive & can-do attitude.
