The team of experts are based in the heart of Melbourne’s thriving music scene, as well as dotted around the globe. The team provide a range of services covering everything from basic distribution, video monetization, through to marketing, digital strategy, and label services to all key platforms.
The Role
You will offer integral support for the accounts team. Reporting to the Head Planning & Finance Manager, your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Date entry into various accounting systems
- Daily management of accounts payable/receivable functions
- Reconciling all bank and credit card statements
- Reviewing and processing expenses
- Processing royalties statements
- Managing accounting and royalties’ queries
- Providing ad hoc support to other team members
- Assisting in preparing financial forecasts and budgets
About You
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in financial/management accounting or similar role
- Australian citizen or PR
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting (minimum), completing CA/CPA desirable
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Bi are essential
- Experience in using Reckon Accounts Hosted/QuickBooks
- Exposure to automation technology
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
