What the attachment roles entail…

As part of these exciting attachment roles, you will be working with the talented production professional, learning on the job invaluable skills. Each role is based in Northern NSW (based near Murwillumbah) for the period listed below. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered if you do not live locally.

1. Assistant Producer: 7th October – 7th December (5 Days Per Week: Mon – Fri recurrence) The ‘Assistant Producer’ attachment will support the Editorial Process while gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of producing a TV show. You will assist with coordinating daily editorial operations, how to create content, and ensuring that every element aligns with the show’s unique format.

2. Camera Assistant: 28th October – 6th December 2024 (5 Days Per Week: Mon-Fri recurrence) The ‘Camera Assistant’ attachment will support the smooth operation of filming, as well as taking care of the camera equipment, both in the studio and on location. You will assist with setting up, operating, and maintaining camera equipment, ensuring that each shot is captured with precision and clarity.

3. Director Attachment: 18th November – 7th December 2024 (5 Days Per Week: Mon-Fri recurrence) The ‘Director’ attachment will learn the fundamental skills required to master the art of Directing a live reality show as well as pre-recorded takes featuring celebrities and hosts. From the gallery, you will learn how to oversee cameras, guide live & pre-recorded direction, and ensure seamless execution of the show’s dynamic elements.

4. Carpenter: 7th October – 6th December 2024 (5 Days Per Week: Mon- Fri recurrence) The ‘Carpenter’ attachment will report directly to the Senior Carpenter in the Art Department and learn how to construct and assemble sets that meet the creative vision and functional needs of the Art Director and Executive Producers. The candidate will need to have / hold a white card (construction induction card) in order to work in our department / workshop.

5. Production Assistant: 30th September – 13th December 2024 – (5 Days Per Week: Mon-Fri recurrence) The ‘Production Assistant’ attachment will learn about the seamless execution of all daily production activities while gaining hands-on experience in managing the logistics of a fast-paced production.

6. Edit Assistant: 28th October – 6th December 2024 (5 Days Per Week: Mon-Fri recurrence) The ‘Edit Assistant’ attachment will support the Post Production team in preparing and refining content for broadcast, ensuring that each segment meets high standards of quality and accuracy.

7. Wardrobe Assistant: 21st October – 13th December 2024 (5 Days Per Week: Mon-Fri recurrence) The ‘Wardrobe Assistant’ attachment will learn how to design, create, and maintain costumes that both reflect the Producers vision of our celebrity cast members, whilst also withstanding the rigours of our unique jungle environment.

8. Sound Assistant: 28th October – 6th December 2024 (5 Days Per Week: Mon-Fri recurrence) The ‘Sound Assistant’ attachment will learn how to ensure top-notch audio quality for both recording in a studio and on location. You will assist with setting up, operating, and maintaining audio equipment. Whilst working with the audio department, you will learn how to set up and manage audio for cast members and hosts whilst in our unique location.

To be successful…

● Eager to learn and have a genuine interest in gaining experience in TV production.

● Able to fulfil the required dates for the role in Northern NSW.

● Some exposure or experience in the attachment area you would like to work in (desirable but not essential).
