Eureka Safety is a new manufacturer of workwear dedicated to providing top-quality products that prioritise safety and comfort. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, we specialise in producing a range of workwear garments, including cotton shirts, pants, polo shirts, and denim jeans, all designed to meet Australian standards for high-visibility materials.

Position Overview:
We seek a skilled and experienced Contract Pattern Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our product development process, working closely with our overseas manufacturing partners to ensure the highest standards of fit, quality, and compliance are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine electronic patterns for various workwear garments, including cotton shirts, pants, polo shirts, and denim jeans
  • Input and maintain tech packs in our online system, Techpacker
  • Collaborate with designers and garment technicians to translate design concepts into functional and aesthetically pleasing patterns
  • Conduct fit assessments and make necessary alterations to patterns to achieve optimal fit and comfort for end users.
    Review pre-production samples to ensure adherence to design specifications and Australian standards for high-visibility materials
  • As needed, provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external manufacturing partners

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pattern Maker in the apparel industry, with a strong understanding of pattern development and garment construction techniques
  • Proficiency in pattern-making software and related tools (e.g., CAD systems)
  • Knowledge of Australian standards for high-visibility materials and experience working with hi-vis fabrics is highly desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
