About the Internship

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a dual talent for crafting video content and managing social media channels to assist / observe as a Digital Marketing Intern for a leading video content agency.

This intern should be prepared to assist in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing, strategy, podcasting, social media management and video content creation within the creative industry.

We are ideally seeking a Gold Coast local for this internship.

You will be working across multiple social media platforms such as: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok & more.

If you’re currently studying marketing or any creative subject and/or a recent graduate and wanting to gain some hands-on experience, this internship is for you!

Treetrunk Digital (TTD) is celebrating its 10th anniversary as one of Australia’s leading video content agencies. This is a great opportunity to work in a fabulous office and gain real life industry hands on experience in the digital landscape of a creative agency.

Responsibilities:

• Create visually striking and impactful content for social media channel
• Assist in new website development and launch
• Assist & create video content through filming and editing
• Assist in launch of a new podcast
• Collaborate with the production teams to develop and execute concepts
• Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all visual assets
• Assist with social media channel management
• Stay updated on trends and techniques to deliver cutting-edge work

Requirements:

• Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite & Canva
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A strong portfolio showcasing your creative skills (video + content)
• Strong understanding of social media platforms
• Excellent attention to detail
• Located in South-East Queensland

This 3-6 month opportunity includes structured approach to learning and development to set you up for your next real-world experience including:

• Goal planning
• Continual support and feedback
• 6 month internship
• Out of pocket expenses covered
• Excited review and Letter of reference provided upon completion of internship
• If available, domestic travel to clients in Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane
• Possible opportunity to travel to Sydney for two weeks in June (all expenses paid)

This is an unpaid internship; hours are dependent on how you work and coordinate your time and can be flexible. Internship will take place at HQ on the Gold Coast. Possible full-time role is available after internship.
