Advertising Intern

Last Month is an advertising agency located in the heart of Sydney, which offers social and digital marketing services specifically tailored to small businesses. Our team works closely with clients to create compelling visual content that effectively communicates their brand message. We pride ourselves on delivering impactful and engaging imagery that captures the essence of our clients.

So what will you learn?

You will be guided in embodying the cultural identity of our firm and will be mentored to excel at the following:

• Assist in planning advertising and promotional campaigns for client products or services
• Learning to liaise and coordinate with our clients to ensure the effective implementation and success of marketing initiatives and activities.
• Produce socially/digitally formatted content for client publication.
• Research relevant & trending social content.
• Upskill Photography & Videography skills for social content.

Qualifications

• Working technical knowledge in photography & videography
• Working knowledge of controlled and natural lighting techniques
• Working technical knowledge in framing and composition
• Working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom CC
• Working Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CC
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent NLE
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Creativity and commercial awareness
• A team player with a customer-oriented approach
• Education in marketing, visual communication or digital communication
• Strong layout and typographic skills
• Able to respond quickly to multiple projects and work well under pressure, effectively handling conflicting deadlines, unexpected delays, revisions, ad hoc requests and changing priorities

Working Arrangement:

• 4 week unpaid internship ( 2 days/Week) – Meal & travel allowance provided
• Upon the successful completion of your internship, for which a letter of completion will be provided, you will be offered a paid part-time position at the firm (2 – 3 days / week)
• Remuneration will be negotiated based on your skill level at the end of the internship
• Internship & employment arrangements will comply with applicable award rates & Fair work regulations.
• Role is predominantly being on-set with the art director for production, with occasional remote work for edits.
