We’re hunting for someone who eats, sleeps and breathes online culture and can turn it into scroll-stopping posts, memes and reels.
At DoorDash, we're looking for a Social Foodie Curator but in legal terms a (Social & Content Associate Manager) to supercharge our brand presence across socials. You won't be stuck at your desk 9-5 with headphones on, it's a creative-first role, perfect for someone who knows what's cool and trending and bringing creative ideas to life whether it's immersing yourself as a DoorDasher and filming behind-the-scenes content to giving insider hacks to our audience on how they can order best order through the app.
What You’ll Be Doing:
✅ Content Creation: From short-form videos to engaging graphics (read: memes), you’ll ideate, create content and design assets.
Spotting & Culture Insights: You’ll have your finger on the pulse of internet culture, knowing exactly what’s about to blow up before it does.
Social Copy & Community Management: You’ll nail our brand tone of voice, having fun with our audience (and other brands) in a way that drives brand love & unlocks conversation.
Collaboration: You’ll have your finger on the pulse of everything exciting that’s happening inside DoorDash, so that we can make sure our audiences outside these walls know about it, ASAP.
Social Growth & Engagement: You’ll have a strong understanding of performance and growth metrics, always thinking about how to drive followership, engagement, reach, and brand love.
Influencer & Creator Partnerships: You’ll identify and collaborate with influencers and creators who can bring the DoorDash brand to life in executions that build trust, capture attention and drive visibility.
Optimising Influencer Content for Paid: You’ll know when to leverage creator-produced content in paid channels, conducting cost-benefit analyses to ensure the best return on investment.
What We’re Looking For:
🔥 A multi-talented creative who can ideate, create, and execute across UGC, EGC, copywriting, community management, and graphic design. You’ll ideally have five years experience under your belt managing social channels for well known brands.
🔥 Someone who thrives in culture, food, and entertainment, keeping up with the latest trends and knowing how to translate them for our brand.
🔥 A social native who understands platform-specific nuances, especially the complexities of paid, organic, boosted, and influencer workstreams across all platforms.
🔥 Someone who can work flexibly—this isn’t necessarily a traditional 9-5 gig. Want to spend 3 days in the office and 2 days out and about making content at some of Australia’s coolest restaurants or brands? That works for us.
🔥 A performance-driven mindset, always thinking about how content can drive real impact and push consumers through our purchase funnel via performance spend in paid placements.
Furthermore, we need you to be able to report on it in a way that keeps the team in the loop on the great progress you’re making.
🔥 Someone with impeccable written & verbal communication, as well as the ability to present when required (you might want to come to some top-secret merchant meetings to get the scoop!).
