Events & Warehouse Team Leader

PURPOSE

To lead and assist in the preparation, erection and dismantle of event equipment, including but not limited to, Staging and Site Crowd Control Barrier, Modular Staging Structures and Ground Protection Panels.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Core objectives include:

• Lead a small team in the preparation, cleaning, maintaining and stocking of event equipment in the Mojo Rental warehouse;

• Installation and Dismantle of event equipment on an event site in accordance with Safe Work Method Statements and under direction of the Event Supervisor, requiring a high level of manual handling;

• Fulfil part of a systematic team effort, communicating well, to contribute to an efficient output;

• Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required. The above list is not exhaustive and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Essential:

• Current First Aid Certification (HLTAID003)

• Professional approach and strong work ethic;

• Show initiative in completing tasks;

• Ability to effectively listen and take direction from Supervisor;

• Ability to effectively lead a small team;

• Assist In the provision of on-the-job training;

• Good problem-solving skills;

• Undertake repetitive tasks with attention to detail;

• Ability to work individually or as part of a team, often under pressure;

• Ability to adapt and have a positive approach to change;

• Physical endurance for a high level of manual handling;

• Respect for process, taking direction and quality output;

• Respect for personal and team safety.

Essential Licenses:

• Car License

• High Risk Work License (Forklift)

Desired:

• MR License – advantageous

• General Construction Induction (White Card) – advantageous

• High Risk Work Licence (Forklift) – advantageous

• Previous experience working on event construction sites;

• Previous experience working in warehouse environments;
