JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Product & Marketing lead to join the Pedestrian team and drive the growth of Pedestrian Jobs. Pedestrian Jobs connects young Aussies looking to enter into or build their career in the creative, media and marketing sectors with the best insights, roles and employers in the country.

Connecting the dots between our content, product, sales and marketing efforts, this role will be responsible for driving the growth of Pedestrian Jobs. In this six (6) month contract role you will oversee the relaunch of the Jobs board, build and execution of marketing strategies, development of key commercial partnerships and ownership of product performance and outcomes.

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the ideal candidate will need to be able to work independently as well as driving collaboration with key stakeholders internally and externally. This includes our Product & Technology, Editorial and Commercial teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Developing and executing a multi-channel marketing plan, utilising paid and owned assets to increase brand awareness and commercial return
– Delivering standout experiential activations, bringing the brand to life
– Working with our Partnerships Sales team to build key commercial partnerships nationally and in key markets
– Driving key customer account outreach and management, utilising data to identify and prioritise opportunity areas
– Managing the delivery of paid commercial content and amplification for employers listing on Pedestrian Jobs
– Working with our Pedestrian Editors to shape supporting organic Editorial content in our Careers & Money vertical, informing job hunters in shaping their career choices and employers in reaching standout candidates
– Working with our Technology and Data teams to maintain and optimise on site performance
– Being a champion for Jobs in the business, establishing strong working relationships with key stakeholders with a customer first approach
– Presenting insights, strategies and recommendations to the leadership team and key stakeholders
– Tracking and reporting outcomes against key cross-department performance indicators

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Your keys to success
– At least 5 years experience in marketing and / or product development roles within the media or technology sector
– Experience delivering omni-channel marketing activities, including experiential activations, eDMS and social. Prior experience with trade is desirable
– Strong critical thinking, analytical and communication skills, with proven track record of delivering commercial and product outcomes utilising data and trend analysis to shape decision making
– Experience working directly with Technology teams as a product owner is preferred
– Strong collaboration and leadership skills
– Self starter capable of working independently
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment across multiple priorities
