Job Description

We are on the hunt for a Junior Social Media Producer to strategise and create campaign content for our brands and partners.

Key Responsibilities

– Create buzzworthy native social videos from concept to upload for IG, TikTok and emerging social media platforms
– Be the face and voice of cutting-edge branded content.
– Develop and maintain PEDESTRIAN TELEVISION’s content strategy to hit – social and TV audience KPIs.
– Conceptualise and execute content that resonates with our audience.
– Collaborate on brainstorming sessions for next-level content ideas.
– Capture the magic behind the scenes at major shoots.
– Keep our brands distinct and dynamic across all platforms.
– Stay ahead of, and educate colleagues and clients, digital trends, tech, and culture.
– Represent us at the coolest events to gather and create content.
– Deliver standout content on schedule and budget.
– Analyze performance to fine-tune our strategy.
– Innovate unique content formats and distribution strategies for each social channel.
– Work closely with our editorial teams to ensure content aligns with our brand.

This is a Sydney-based role and requires on-set or in-office work a minimum of 3 days per week. This is an initial full-time freelance contract role of 12 months with the option to extend.

Qualifications

Who You Are:

– Proven experience in social media or content creation, whether with a brand or as an influencer.
– Comfortable and charismatic in front of the camera.
– A keen sense of youth culture and trends.
– Proven track record of developing successful social media strategies and content.
– Skilled with iPhone content creation tools, including TikTok’s editing suite.
– A good understanding of the algorithms, features, and best practices of each social media platform, and how to leverage them to increase their visibility and reach.
– An exceptional team player, proactive and collaborative with deadline driver project management mindset
– Able to juggle multiple projects with ease and efficiency.
– Well-versed in all social media platform’s latest features and algorithms.
– Strong communication and teamwork skills.
– A dynamic skill set that combines creativity, commercial understanding, communication, and analytics.
– Excellent attention to detail – including copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
– A keen eye for design and aesthetics.
– Strong research and problem-solving skills.
