The significance of Christian leadership in contemporary society exists because its foundations rest on unchanging biblical truths which will continue to exist beyond current cultural movements. The Bible provides numerous examples of leaders whom God selected to accomplish His divine plans which included Moses, Joshua, David, Esther, Nehemiah, Paul, and most importantly Jesus Christ. The leaders showed imperfection yet they chose to believe in God and follow His guidance while working for the benefit of others.
