Hope & Glory is delighted to be partnering with a global hospitality group to appoint a Communications Manager - a role designed for someone who can work confidently across internal and external audiences, operate at pace, and bring commercial judgement to a growing marketing function.

The opportunity

This position sits in the broader marketing team and plays a central role in ensuring messages are clear, consistent and appropriate for the audience. There is clear direction from leadership and an expectation that communications will contribute to business outcomes, not simply activity.

You will work across internal communications - coordinating employees and partners - and external communications, including stakeholder messaging, digital content and PR coordination where required. The role demands someone who can shift tone and channel confidently, depending on the audience context.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Developing and delivering internal and external communications across multiple channels
Drafting and editing clear, audience-appropriate messaging for a range of stakeholders
Managing newsletters, eDMs and digital content distribution
Coordinating PR activity and responding to emerging issues as required
Partnering with marketing and senior stakeholders to align communications with business priorities
Prioritising competing inputs and delivering quality work at pace.

This is not a purely operational role, nor is it abstract strategy. It sits somewhere in the middle: practical, commercially aware and close to the business.

This is a full-time ongoing role based in Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements at employer discretion.

About you

You are an experienced communications practitioner who exercises sound judgement and understands how communications supports commercial outcomes.

Your application likely shows:

• the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and channels

• sound commercial awareness

• confidence working with stakeholders across levels

• the capacity to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
