We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Digital Marketing and Promotions Assistant to work alongside Club 77s marketing team. The successful candidate will gain exposure to and develop their knowledge base in all aspects of marketing and promotions in the competitive world of nightclubs and night-time economy industries.

Roles and Responsibilities

A passion for electronic music and an intuitive understanding of audience needs and communication channels is a must, along with a desire to build experience and a career in marketing and promotions.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, collaborating directly with Club 77 directors and its marketing team.

You will be expected to:

Digital Marketing:

• Support building a paid digital media recommendation each month, based on results and performance, to help drive club attendance

• Help us test and learn with new digital channels and tactics (website retargeting, Tik Tok)

• Create engaging content for social media platforms Instagram and Facebook, posting as per the social media schedule

• Oversee the management of Club 77s Spotify account, developing artist playlists and music related content

• Monitor and respond to comments and messages, ensuring timely and brand-aligned engagement

Content Creation:

• Develop forward-thinking copy, visuals and video content that aligns with Club 77s brand guidelines and voice

• Liaise directly with Club 77s Music Director and staff writers in the development of content pieces for the Club 77 blog

• Liaise directly with Club 77s Creative Director in the coordination of marketing and promotional materials

Email Marketing:

• Assist in the development and sending of the weekly What's On and special event newsletters

Brand Awareness:

• Brainstorm and help implement creative marketing ideas and campaigns that will increase brand visibility and engagement with our community. We're a 'digital first' business, but radio, print and street campaigns also have a role to play in our marketing mix

• Help grow Club 77s online presence and audience engagement

Event Campaigns:

• Support the promotion of upcoming shows, including artist features and event marketing

• Coordinate the printing and distribution of event campaign collaterals

Artist Awareness:

• Work on initiatives to highlight Club 77s resident DJs and their profiles

Market Research and Reporting:

• Research market leading nightclubs, brands and collectives, providing detailed insights on their marketing and promotional activities

• Assist with weekly reporting on social media, website performance and marketing campaigns to track performance and audience engagement

Personal and Professional Qualifications:

• A passion for electronic music, nightlife and marketing

• A creative thinker with strong attention to detail

• Experienced with social media and content creation

• Confident in writing engaging marketing and event copy that reflects Club 77s voice

• Familiar with Adobe Suite, Figma, Notion, Meta Business Suite and Mailchimp (or willing to learn)

• Highly organised and able to work both independently and collaboratively

Bonus skills and experience:

• Experience in event marketing strategy, digital advertising or partnership coordination

• Knowledge of video editing software (Premiere Pro or CapCut) to enhance content creation capabilities

• 11.5% superannuation
