The successful candidate must have an equally strong understanding and enjoyment of PR and Social Media, specifically Instagram and Tik Tok.

You must have a genuine passion for all things fashion, beauty and lifestyle and be a creative thinker with a strong understanding of the Australian media/ social media landscape.

Your Role:

General

Ensure client PR and social media monthly KPI’s are continually met, ideally exceeded.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and identify new opportunities for clients by providing ongoing analysis of media coverage and the social media landscape, adjusting PR and social strategies as needed.
Manage day-to-day communications with clients, including regular updates, population of WIP documents, attendance in WIP Meetings.
Ongoing media monitoring to identify PR placements and social media content, ensuing all ‘hits’ are saved in real time to be able to generate monthly client PR and Influencer coverage reports in line with existing reporting templates to be provided to clients by the first week of the following month.
Ensure client showroom displays are stocked at all times and your client areas remain neat and tidy.
Ensure client protocol is followed at all times when sending PR or Influencers product, including printing of press materials, inclusion of personal notes, brand packaging and dispatch materials are correctly used.
Support on client events and activations as they arise

In line with client strategies, generate broad-spectrum consumer publicity including product placements and lifestyle ‘news’ for your client portfolio including interview opportunities.
Proactive and reactive media pitching including drafting of press releases, e-blasts and distribution of assets including both imagery and physical product samples.
Ongoing building and maintaining of strong relationships with media outlets and journalists.

Social

In line with client strategies, secure Influencer lead partnerships with ‘on brand’ talent to generate engaging content and key messaging on behalf of your clients.
Proactive and reactive Influencer send outs including drafting of collaborations, communicating over DM’s, and dispatch of physical product samples.
Ongoing building and maintaining of strong relationships with Influencers and VIP’s.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven track record working in Public Relations at a fashion, beauty, or lifestyle agency, or in-house role, minimum 2 years.

• Strong understanding of the Australian media and social media landscape.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• High attention to detail, including exceptional written and verbal communication.

• Established relationships with media, talent, and agents, always building your network of contacts.

• Ability to proactively and reactively manage editorial requests as a matter of priority.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• A multitasker who can ensure media, agency and client deadlines are never missed.
