Writing/PR Intern

Newde is a Swimwear and Intimates brand for the modern women. We are on the hunt for an intern with a strong drive and desire to expand on their writing, and PR skills.

Experienced in editing and creating original and high-quality well edited content in a variety of types, Journal articles, SEO-based content, long-form interviews. 

Your articles will help driving traffic to the website, and enhancing audience experience and engagement, ensuring the brand’s tone is consistent across all platforms and SEO goals are being meet in all written pieces.

You will have the opportunity to interview inspiring women in business, research and write articles about fashion and sustainabilIty, innovative companies leading the way in textiles, Press pitches on new and exciting product launches, the role really it open to explore and lead into many different areas for the right candidate.

WHAT 

This role can be done remotely from home, all correspondence will be through email or Zoom.

Will require time to research or interview and develop your article 

One complete article delivery per week for the Newde Journal 

Create an ongoing running list and rich content ideas pertaining to the interest of NEWDE customers 

You must a have strong interest in the fashion industry, sustainability, PR and writing

Have some general understanding of SEO or be willing to learn about it.

Comfortable writing about Underwear, Women’s health, Motherhood (There can be guidance and prompting to help create article around these subjects with the business owner if its not a knowledgable area for you.) Swimwear, Summer styling ideas, best unknown staycations, Up-level your wardrobe style with these easy hacks,  for example.

Research previous article topics across Editorial, gather information and create relevant pitches for Editorial opportunity from Newdes current range and new ranges.

This role will suit someone studying Communication/ Journalism or Fashion with a strong interest in writing.  A paid opportunity will be available for the right person after a period of time, there will also my other areas of the business you will be able to gain experience if the applicant wants, in Marketing, Social Media Management, Production Management and Sustainability Research in the field of Textiles.

Required to work 1-2 day per week 

Intern period 3 months
