A bit about us – we are Capital Inc. a commercial real estate marketing agency, who produce, create, both design assets and video content for a vast range of national and global clients. Our head office and studio is located in Docklands, Melbourne. 

 

We are currently looking for an editor to join our studio on a 3 day a week contract, with the possibility of this increasing to a more full time position in the future. The contract position would be perfect for a mid-level or junior freelance editor looking for a more secure position to form part of their work week.

 

A bit about the role and the responsibilities:

  • Media management, ingesting and organising footage
  • Cutting rushes and creating select sequences
  • Form assembly & offline edits
  • Taking on internal and client feedback to finalise and lock off edits
  • Colour grading footage both in DaVinci and Premiere Pro
  • Sound design, cutting to music, adding foley and audio effects

 

Skills we are looking for:

  • Experience in Adobe Suite, Premiere Pro & Da Vinci is essential
  • Experienced in producing short-form, impactful (hype reel style) content, driven by music and visuals
  • Must bring a collaborative spirit, solid skillset, and work ethic
  • Ideal candidates will have exceptional attention to detail and be open to feedback + constructive criticism throughout the creative process
  • Experience in After Effects and creating basic compositions / effects is desirable but not essential
