Job Description

We are a video game publisher searching for a contract based TikTok producer to join the team, based in Sydney. We are looking for a creative and collaborative individual who is plugged into TikTok trends and has a passion for video games. This person must have experience with TikTok, understanding trends, effects, creators, and production styles. 

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a freelancer to work with a global video game company to help create and launch a TikTok channel from the ground up! 

 

What you’ll do

  • Create and edit 5x TikTok videos per week, that will be uploaded to game publisher channels
  • Participate in a weekly TikTok content strategy meeting
  • Collaborate with the in-house Communications team to create on brief content, but also proactively suggest trends & content ideas
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends, new editing features and best practices on TikTok
  • Assist the team in reaching local objectives for TikTok

 

What you’ll bring 

  • Strong knowledge of the TikTok social media platform
  • Experience filming and editing TikTok content, for either personal or brand channels
  • Basic social media editing skills are required, including knowledge of export formats, content specifications & frame rates  
  • A creative eye for compelling social media content
  • A collaborative working approach, while also having the skills and drive to take initiative and work independently
  • Flexible and adaptable approach, with an ability to react quickly to new trends
  • A knowledge of both video game culture & products
