As part of the Secret Sounds ticketing team, you’ll have the flexibility to WFH and from our Fitzroy office. You’ll be an integral part of working behind the scenes and have the ultimate on ground experience at the best Australian festivals including Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Harvest Rock and other external festival clients (currently Laneway Festival & CMC Rocks). You’ll get to see some of the best live shows as you’ll also work across internal & external reporting of all Secret Sounds and Village Sounds tours as well as multiple venues across Australia.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Liaising with ticketing agents to create & manage event or tour builds for venues & promoter;
  • Liaising with ticketing agents to confirm available announce & onsale schedules for promoter;
  • Reporting of ticket sales to internal and external contacts;

 Skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role, music/events/entertainment industry essential.
  • Strong computer literacy –proficiency across Outlook, Word. High level of Excel skills required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) in a manner consistent with the culture and across all levels;
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise;
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines, in high pressure situations.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, sensitive to relationships and situations;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated passion for music

 Detailed responsibilities, but not limited to;

  • Liaising with ticketing agents to create & manage event or tour builds for venues & promoter;
  • Liaising with ticketing agents to confirm available announce & onsale schedules for promoter;
  • Assist promoter with reporting requests and set up ticketing agents back-end reporting access;
  • Creation of seating maps for events;
  • Liaise with promoter to confirm management contact lists for event builds & reporting;
  • Create reporting templates and documentation;
  • Reporting of ticket sales and distributing to internal and external contacts;
  • Assisting with customer communications from venue or promoter to ticketholders/ databases;
  • Maintain current records of venues, ticketing fees etc;
  • Management of digital event calendars and project timelines;
  • Liaising with venues;
  • Assisting with tasks from tour confirmation and announce right through to post show settlement phase;
  • Data collection, security and sharing;
  • Answer ticketing enquiries from promoters;
  • Manage artwork and copy deadlines for event builds;
  • Assist with Festival ticketing tasks during peak season;
  • Care-take of higher-level roles when Ticketing Manager is on annual leave;
  • Other ad hoc admin and projects as they come up;
  • And more tasks not listed above
