We are on the hunt for a Strategy & Response Executive to assist & drive the ideation of creative campaigns for our advertising clients. You’ll be required to work on responses from the initial brief and proposal stage with the sales team, whilst also building relationships with brands and stakeholders.


Reporting into the Group Strategy & Response Manager, the role requires the successful applicant to manage brief responses, confidently balance Pedestrian Group’s interests against agency brief requirements and collaborate with all internal departments to create ideas which connect brands to youth culture and challenge the status quo.


You’ll be joining the team during a new era at Pedestrian Group, working across Pedestrian.TV, VICE, Refinery29, Gizmodo, Lifehacker & Kotaku. The role calls for a multidisciplinary approach, someone who is creative, froths a good idea and can collaborate effectively with internal departments to win business.


Your Primary Duties

  • Understand the context and purpose of a client brief to dissect the relevant business, category, consumer and marketing challenges.
  • Ideate, facilitate & create market leading pitches across all Pedestrian Group products (written content, video content, activations, bigger digital solutions) for our clients.
  • Assist & build client proposals inclusive of: compiling relevant research, developing insights, creation of ideas and copywriting.
  • Host and implement best brainstorming practices throughout the briefing process.
  • Advise brands on how to best connect with youth culture through research, trends & ideas.
