Damn Gina is a digitally native hair accessories brand based in Melbourne. We are looking for a Marketing and Content Coordinator who will be working directly with the founder & CEO.

This is a part-time role with the potential to go full-time within 3 months for the right candidate.

The key responsibilities include

  • Create & oversee content creation on platforms like Meta, TikTok, Reddit and Pinterest – to ensure all content visual and copy are on brand and speak to our latest messaging.
  • Ideate and strategise the brand’s multi-channel marketing calendar.
  • Ideate and create an annual content plan – this involves newsletters, haircare recipes, key events, dates and launches – on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Communicate the content requirement with the designer and the social media intern to make sure all campaigns meet the deadlines.
  • Work with the founder to define key events in the marketing calendar for new launches, sales and events.
  • Work together with the social media intern and the founder on content creation strategy.
  • Ideate and implement EDM strategy in line with the ecommerce calendar, and working with the designer and the founder to drive revenue and retention via emails.
  • Implement brand and creator collaboration programs and maintain an ongoing relationship.
  • Manage the brands social media channels by scheduling the posts.
  • Knowledge on paid advertising is hugely beneficial but not necessary.

Skills

  • A passion for content creation.
  • Penchant for delivering innovative, funny and top tier content. 
  • A love for experimenting with new content creation ideas.
  • Basic knowledge in Klaviyo and email marketing is beneficial but not necessary.
  • A good sense of humour especially while scripting for Tiktok and Reel video content.
  • Outgoing and great with relationship management.
  • Naturally textured/ curly hair is highly beneficial as we are a brand that caters to women with textured hair and create content around hair. 

This is a hybrid working role where you will be working from home and a co-working space in Kensington.
