We are looking for a social media weapon. Someone who knows how to build, grow and nurture a community and understands the importance of telling stories through content. We’re looking for someone who is hungry to learn, create great work and help us continue to disrupt the fight wear industry.


This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing & Operations with the primary focus being on managing and optimising the Engage social media channels (whilst the channel mix may change on occasion, below is a current list of Engage’s primary social channels):

Your role will involve managing the social media presence of Engage across all stages, including everything from content planning, through to execution and reporting. There will be a strong focus on organising, writing and publishing organic content across all social channels and working closely with our agency roster to effectively help manage our media strategy.


Social Media Management: Day-to-day oversight and management of channels, Ensuring content is going live on time, communities are being managed and ads are running seamlessly.

Social Media Optimisation: Assisting with best practice recommendations across all social channels to optimise engagement, growth and customer satisfaction.

Organic Content Planning & Publishing: Helping to generate, plan and post organic content across all channels.

Development of Paid Ads: Assisting the team with paid media recommendations and content creation.

Collaboration with Agencies and Freelancers: Oversight of our agencies to ensure that ads are being updated and performing to an optimal standard. Support with briefing all third parties as required.

Strategic Implementation: Implement the existing brand & social strategy through organic and paid social. Additionally, looking for ways to be more strategic in driving follower growth and engagement.

Implementation of Influencer Programs: Assist with implementing an influencer database to be used to support new product drops or other brand initiatives.

Managing Athlete/Influencer Content: Ensure our large athlete roster have access to the latest ranges and are creating content on an ongoing basis.

Reporting: Monthly reporting that summarises performance and provides insights and learnings with clear and actionable changes that the team can implement to optimise performance.


  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or an equivalent level of relevant experience to match
  • 1-2 years proven experience in project management while also having proven digital media knowledge is preferred
  • You have excellent copywriting and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • You are highly organised and have great attention to detail, even when managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • You can work independently within a team focused organisation and show initiative if issues ever arise
  • You have excellent dexterity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office products. Understanding of Adobe Suite is a bonus.
  • You value teamwork and understand the importance of being a team player
  • Deep understanding of pop culture and the impact of cultural relevance
  • You know how to be a creative shepherd and problem solver that’s able to drive multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel and on occasion work evenings and weekends as required
