Saint Valentine Jewellery is looking for a Social Media and Community Coordinator who lives and breathes all things social. This role is responsible for actively growing brand awareness, audience engagement, conversation and support.

They will implement content to align with the overall marketing calendar, engage with influencers and help strategize growth and impact on all social media platforms (IG, FB, Pinterest, Tiktok). 

This full-time position will be based onsite from our Alexandria office, with flexible hours and some remote / offsite work. Immediate start for the right candidate.

Saint Valentine Jewellery was established in Sydney, Australia in 2016 from a desire to create quality, timeless jewellery at an affordable price. With an emphasis on modernity & refined beauty, we aim to make pieces that create a connection with our wearer, to be lived in & loved. We now have two retail stores in Sydney, a fast growing online business, and are sold across David Jones, The Iconic and other boutiques in Australia & New Zealand.

   

Who are you?

As our Social Media and Community Coordinator, you are independent, creative, tech savvy and passionate about social media. You are aligned with our aesthetic, confident in creating content for all channels and have strong attention to detail. Affluent communication skills & pride in your work is essential. 

  

As our ideal candidate, you will:

  • Have a minimum of one year experience in a similar role 
  • Have experience creating content for all social media platforms – Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest & Tiktok
  • Strong written skills – going above and beyond to turn enquiries into sales and happy returning customers as well as creating copy for all social posts in our brand voice. 
  • Aesthetic alignment and some graphic design, image and video creation skills. 
  • Have an understanding of the Australian influencer & creator landscape, particularly in beauty, fashion & lifestyle.

  • Have strong attention to detail, organization, pride in work, initiative and a can-do solution oriented mindset
  • Be results driven with an ability to meet & exceed key performance indicators and deadlines
  • Be ready to run our social strategy and significantly grow our following and community engagement, with a hands-on approach requiring daily monitoring, sometimes outside of office hours. This is not a Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm role. Some evening & weekend hours are required due to the nature of social media.
  • Be a team player – inclusive, reliable, accountable and adaptable with the ability to work closely with the rest of the team.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • End-to-end content creation including planning, creating, curating, scheduling, copywriting, publishing & reporting across all social media platforms.
  • Produce ad-hoc creative campaign shoots and content for Tiktok & Reels
  • Manage influencer campaigns, gifting & stylist relationships
  • Assist with the marketing calendar 
  • Constant community management & outreach, responding to comments & questions, fostering engagement and conversation.
  • Implement social growth ideas – eg. giveaways, collaborations, influencer events
  • Manage all influencer and social content in our drive
  • Devise strategies to increase SV’s organic reach and social footprint within target regions
  • Monitor the social media landscape to identify trends and inform brand strategy.
