About Us:

Manly Women’s Wellness is a community based organisation dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and connection among women. We organise events, provide valuable resources, and foster a supportive environment for our members. We are looking for a motivated and creative intern to join our team and help us grow our impact.

Position Overview:

As an intern for Manly Women’s Wellness, you will assist with content creation, event management, video production, and community engagement. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our team, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the growth of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and relevant content for our social media platforms and monthly newsletter.
  • Event Management: Assist in planning, organizing, and executing wellness events and meetups.
  • Video Content: Create and edit video content for social media, promotional materials, and event highlights. This involves filming, editing, and producing high-quality videos and reels that resonate with our audience.
  • Canva Templates: Design and update templates on Canva for social media posts, event invitations, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Community Engagement: Respond to direct messages (DMs) and comments on our social media platforms, ensuring timely and thoughtful interactions with our community members.
  • Research: Conduct research for articles, blog posts, and other content to provide accurate and valuable information to our community.
  • Mailchimp: Assist in creating and managing email campaigns using Mailchimp, including designing templates, segmenting audiences, and analyzing campaign performance.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including emailing partners and organizing event materials such as goody bags and prizes.


  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a related field.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Canva and video editing software.
  • Experience with social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of Mailchimp or other email marketing platforms.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and creative.
  • Passion for wellness and community building.
