The Senior Wedding & Event Stylist position is responsible for proposing creative styling concepts to clients, working
with their brief and budget. This includes, but is not limited to, corporate events, weddings, activations and
private functions. The role also includes the management of social media, styled shoots, and creative content
when communicating current and new collections, trends, and style advice. The duties outlined in this position
description may vary from time to time depending on the evolving needs of the business and may include styling /
assisting with set up on site, if required.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attending to client consultations via phone, emails, showroom meetings in a courteous and professional
manner
Create unique, on-trend and custom-designed events and preparation of proposals and design briefs
Organise and manage all event installations from the initial proposal to full event delivery (including but
not limited to, incentive and corporate events, gala dinners, media launches and seminars/conferences)
Manage high volumes of day-to-day communications with external vendors, stakeholders, suppliers and
event partners
Maintaining a detailed understanding of concurrently running jobs
Managing budgets from $2k-$100k
Managing and building relationships with clients and stakeholders
Preparing visual design presentations, including floorplans and renders to accompany the client’s
quotation
Managing event set-ups, bump-outs and deliveries including; styling requirements, AV, logistics, crew
briefings and client management
Coordinating with internal teams, external suppliers and venue managers to ensure smooth bumpin/outs
Working with internal marketing and custom production teams to create custom event collateral and
custom-built feature items i.e. media walls and photo opportunities, printed branding requirements,
ceiling features and custom-built activations
Research and implement current and upcoming design trends to be used in creating new style
collections
Plan and design EDMs for new announcements via Squarespace
Plan new collection release, including styling, photography and rollout via website and social media
Manage the external supplier bookings to ensure they are pre-booked, briefed and scheduled for
confirmed events
Maintain client relationships and be the main point of contact when assigned as an Account Manager
Management of (or Assist in the management of) event sales and preparation of quotations for client
briefs
Responding to all enquiries through email and phone in a timely manner (same day, within business
hours)
Following up quotes, sales and payments in a timely manner

Remaining up to date with all inventory and services whilst maintaining an understanding of the Simply
Seated business and inventory
Liaising between warehouse staff and internal staff when required
Manage the set up and/or styling on site from time to time, if required
