About the role

We are looking for an engaged and dynamic Sales Coordinator to join our growing team on a full-time basis. The Sales Coordinator would work in our Central-South cluster, which includes gorgeous venues such as The Button Factory, The Ivory and Chapel 1885. This role is truly unique as it offers the person the ability to customise wedding journeys for our lovely couples – right from the very first sales inspection! In this role, you will meet and greet couples and other clients wishing to celebrate an event, and support them to bring their vision to life. The Sales Coordinator role also attracts commission based on individual and team outcomes. Some of the key aspects of this role include:

  • Actively work towards achieving monthly individual and team sales targets;
  • Ensuring each venue is presented beautifully for each client inspection;
  • Meeting couples and other clients to undertake an inspection at one of our venues;
  • Building strong relationships with couples throughout the sales journey so that you are able to suggest and recommend ways to customise their journey and upsell Nudo’s wide range of services;
  • Prepare and send a proposal to each couple after their inspection within a timely manner, to ensure they have all the information they need to make a decision about where to hold their wedding or event;
  • Respond to client emails and questions in a timely manner, and help problem-solve any concerns they may have;
  • Answer outbound phone calls and online enquiries from clients looking to book in an inspection at one of our venues;

Skills and experience 

  • Must have previous experience in a sales role;
  • Experience in the events/wedding industry or venue management (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell to clients;
  • Ability to problem solve for clients and internal team members;
  • Strong listening skills and ability to understand the client’s vision.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively; 
  • This role is also very autonomous and requires someone who can manage their own time effectively;
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends as required by the roster;
  • Valid Victorian Drivers licence and own a car;
  • Candidates are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19;
