We are looking for a, creative and enthusiastic fashion lover to join our production team as an intern. This is an ideal role if you are looking to break into the fashion industry.

MOS The Label ready-to-wear collections are sold through wholesale nationally and internationally, including Myer, The Iconic and leading boutiques. Based in Surry Hills, we are currently seeking a Production Intern to join us for 2 days a week for 3 months. If selected for the position, you will have the opportunity to work with a fast-growing fashion brand in a progressive, diverse and forward- minded business culture.

Some responsibilities include:

PRODUCTION DESIGN

-Check and measure proto, pre-production and shipping samples
-Provide detail comments for workmanship, measurement, construction in both Chinese and English -Create specification sheet for each style
-Create production schedule
-Work directly with the factories to improve, change workmanship etc to improve quality
-Create factory costing sheet file
-Chasing up PPS, shipping samples

Specific requirements:
· Studying or completed a course in Fashion Design or Business Administration
· Can speak Chinese
· An ability to work autonomously and a part of a team
· Must have strong skills in Excel
· Extremely organized and strong attention to detail
· Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure

Therefore, you can expect to be hands-on, in a fast-paced environment, working closely with the production team. Other tasks may involve assistance with the design and warehouse department, thus you will have the opportunity to gain experience within different areas of the fashion industry.
