About The Role:
We are seeking a creative PR Executive who takes pride in their work, is ready to take on the next challenge and thrive in a collaborative and fun environment.

Working in conjunction with the Director and Senior Communications Lead, you will assist in managing and executing public relations campaigns on behalf of our diverse range of clients.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day account responsibilities for our diverse portfolio of clients across travel, luxury lifestyle, health & wellbeing, beauty & fashion, food & beverage, celebrity & entertainment, business & start-ups.
  • Develop and maintain effective newsworthy campaign ideas and PR strategies.
  • Source, write and edit press materials for different communications channels including TV, print, radio, podcasts and online.
  • Pitch and follow up press releases, alerts, and customised pitches to relevant journalists for high-level placements across the media across all media platforms.
  • Take client briefs and act on them confidently and professionally with the team.
  • Identifying potential stories and media targets, while establishing and coordinating interviews and following up media contacts. 
  • Identify, coordinate, and implement multiple high-profile influencers, celebrity talent and gifting campaigns.
  • Foster and nurture strong relationships with the media, influencers, thought leaders and stakeholders to ensure positive coverage for our clients.
  • Coordinate and assist with relevant content across Buzz-owned digital channels such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google AdWords, Google My Business and WordPress.
  • Deliver and manage client media monitoring, WIP reports, run-sheets, interview schedules and spokesperson briefings.

In this role, you must:

  • Hold an Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in the landscape of media, communications, marketing or advertising.
  • Have a minimum of 2+ years of experience within a similar agency role.
  • Be proficient pitching skills, both verbal and written.
  • Have existing and solid relationship with media across relevant industries.
  • Hold exceptional copywriting, attention for detail and sub-editing skills.
  • Experienced with MAC computers and Google Suites preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Google Docs)
  • Have the ability to think creatively and outside of the box to achieve cut through for our clients.
  • Be experienced in working in a fast-paced, results orientated environment.
  • The ability to honour and maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
  • The ability to take direction, feedback and work autonomously once briefed.
