Here at POP wilder we are seeking a creative assistant for an exciting part time role. We are one of the leading indoor plant studios in melbourne constantly expanding our business and we are looking for an absolute superstar to join the team and help support the creative director and store manager to grow POP wilder. No two days are the same here we need someone with strong creative ideas, who is ontop of trends and will help us to grow and build our creative vision. The role includes photoshoots with us and with other social media clients, creating beautiful imagery and being supported to grow and thrive in your creative career.

Creative Assistant roles and responsibilities

  • Provide creative support in shaping social media and curating brand image
  • Help support public relations aspects
  • Have an understanding of instagram, tiktok and creating content for this
  • Put on events as required
  • Help brainstorm new ideas for new materials and new generation of traffic instore
  • Stay on top of trends and help forecast new ideas and new collections
  • Create content for social media
  • Set up and style photoshoots and edit video content for social media
  • Have knowledge and understanding of graphic design
  • Assist with the development of promotional materials (e.g. videos, info graphics, materials)
  • Develop materials for internal use (e.g. glossaries, guides)
  • Maintain and help design showroom area
  • Gather logos, images, statistics, quotes, and other items to use in promotional materials
  • Coordinate with the creative director and store managers
  • Website maintenance as required
  • Compile and analyze data to identify trends and insights for ongoing campaigns
  • Brainstorm strategies to enhance ad performance, targeting, and engagement
  • Other tasks as required

Prerequisites

  • DSLR camera and photography skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, public relations or a related field
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro (or any video editing software)
  • Knowledge of web publishing platforms
  • Ability to style interiors with objects and plants
  • Good written skills and artistic aptitude
  • Team-oriented work ethics
  • Drivers license
