Paid PR Internship (with a difference!)

Applications are now open to be part of Praytell Australia’s Intownship program, a paid 3-month, two day per week internship placement (part-time, and flexible based on existing study and work commitments) for aspiring comms gurus living outside of a major city. As PRWeek’s North American Agency of the Year (2020) and Best Place to Work seven years running, Praytell is built on the spirit of partnership – with our clients, our weird and wonderful employees, and our communities. What exactly is an Intownship?
Wickedly smart and creative talent can come from anywhere, and we want to help creatively minded Aussies who live outside major cities gain real experience in the communications industry without having to pull up stumps and move. 

This remote interning experience will give you senior mentorship and the chance to work with Praytell’s global teams from Melbourne to New York City, Los Angeles and London on (real) communications briefs and creative challenges for global clients – all from your hometown.

Intownships include a week-long immersion trip to Praytell’s Melbourne office to kick off the 12-week experience, including flights and accommodation from anywhere in Australia and a series of creative field trips. 

Eligibility 

Intownships are open to creatively minded individuals from any age or educational background living outside of Australia’s major cities.

We want to see your thinking in action! To apply, share with us your idea for a PR or advertising campaign for your home town (the more creative the better). It could be a stunt, campaign idea, trending TikTok remix or big budget film release – we want to see how you think about getting ideas out into the world.
